Job summary

Venture Home Solar, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a field sales team across Delaware, Maryland and DC, while hands-on selling during ramp-up. The role requires coaching energy consultants, managing forecasts, and ensuring seamless execution from contract to install.

You will drive solar product attachments, navigate financing options, and stay compliant with state regulations. Daily travel and evening/weekend work are expected to meet regional targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in outside/field sales within home improvement (solar, HVAC, roofing, or similar).
• 2+ years leading a field sales team with quota attainment.
• Proven metrics in close rate, revenue, and peer ranking.
• Residential solar financing knowledge (lease, PPA, loan, cash).
• Ability to obtain MHIC and DC licenses.
• Willingness to travel daily across DE, MD, and DC with valid license and vehicle.
• Proficiency with CRMs and pipeline data management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard field Energy Consultants across DE, MD, and DC.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, team meetings, and pipeline reviews with targets.
• Lead field ride-alongs, review recordings, and coach on discovery, design, financing, and closing.
• Identify and develop future team leads to support regional scaling.
• Run in-home and virtual appointments personally during ramp and assist on high-value deals.
• Own regional forecasts and achieve monthly and quarterly targets for kW sold, deals closed, and revenue.
• Ensure company-provided appointments are confirmed, executed on time, and dispositioned same-day with follow-up.
• Drive product attachment rates for storage, panel upgrades, and electrification products.
