Job summary

Forever Solar & Roofing is seeking experienced sales leaders to join as Solar Area Managers. You will lead from the front, managing and developing a regional sales team while actively closing homeowner appointments and generating opportunities in the field.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, monitor performance, and ensure a professional customer experience from first contact to sale. Remote leadership with local travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, coach, and manage a residential solar sales team.
• Recruit and onboard new appointment setters and sales representatives.
• Train team on prospecting, qualifying homeowners, presenting solar solutions, objection handling, and closing.
• Personally run and close homeowner appointments.
• Generate appointments through calling, networking, referrals, local outreach, and other lead-generation methods.
• Assist sales reps with difficult appointments and closings.
• Monitor pipelines, appointments, follow-ups, and production.
• Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Hold team members to activity and production expectations.
• Maintain CRM lead and appointment data accurately.
• Work with leadership to grow production in the area.
• Maintain professional customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Identify and develop future team leaders.
