Job summary

One Step Closer Nursing Homes in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Corporate/Regional Director of Social Work to drive clinical outcomes, mentor teams, and implement corporate policies across our facilities. The role involves assessing Social Services departments and providing routine consultation to sites in the region.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant leadership in social work and LTC, plus a Social Work license; a Master’s degree in social work is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year Corporate / Regional Director of Social Work experience (Preferred).
• 1 year Long Term Care experience (Preferred).
• Licensed Social Worker required.
• Master’s degree in social work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical outcomes, mentor staff, implement corporate policies & procedures.
• Assess & evaluate the Social Services departments in our facilities.
• Provide routine consultation to the assigned facilities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
• May serve as Interim Director of Social Services on a short-term basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full Job Description

• Responsible for driving clinical outcomes, mentoring staff, implementing corporate policies & procedures.

• Assess & evaluate the Social Services departments in our facilities throughout Texas.

• Provide routine consultation services to the assigned facilities.

• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.

• May occasionally be assigned as Interim Director of Social Services on a short-term basis.

• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Corporate / Regional Director of Social Work: 1 year (Preferred)

• Long Term Care: 1 year (Preferred)

• Social Work License required.

License/Certification:

• Master’s degree in social work (Preferred)
