Job summary

The New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) seeks an Administrative Manager M-III to oversee the SNAP centers regionally, aligning operations with federal, state, and city guidelines. You will supervise Center Directors and ensure timely eligibility determinations and client service excellence.

You will coordinate with the Assistant Deputy Commissioner and manage performance using SNAP Stat/Center Stat, driving action plans and ensuring program access for New Yorkers in multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of progressively responsible administrative experience including program management or planning.
• Associate degree with 5 years of relevant experience including supervisory capacity.
• High school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience including supervisory capacity.
• Education/experience equivalent to the above with 18 months supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Non-Public Assistance SNAP centers across Boroughs.
• Monitor reports and use SNAP Stat/Center Stat to guide priorities and staffing.
• Develop and implement policy/procedures for SNAP application/recertification.
• Visit SNAP Centers to ensure compliance with regulations and execute approved plans.
• Represent agency in meetings with State/USDA officials on SNAP initiatives.
