Job summary

The City of New York, MAP, is recruiting for an Administrative Manager NM-II to serve as Regional Director for the Queens & Manhattan Community Offices. You will oversee daily operations for Medicaid eligibility processing, ensure adherence to federal, state, and local rules, and drive efficiency across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with four years of progressive clerical/administrative experience requiring independent decision-making.
• Alternative: associate degree with five years of relevant experience, 18 months in supervisory capacity.
• Or a high school diploma with six years of relevant experience and supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MAP Community Office operations and ensure compliance with protocols, timelines, and regulations.
• Direct the Site Manager to provide services to consumers per state and federal rules; implement procedures.
• Improve efficiency and productivity by monitoring activities, reporting, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the Director to set strategies for program implementation and office performance.
• Interact with NYSDOH and other agencies on consumer issues and prepare Medicaid statistics reports.
