Job summary

GitLab Inc. seeks a player-coach regional leader to build and direct a team of Product SMEs across Security & Compliance, Platform, Core DevSecOps, and AI & Competitive. You will align with regional sales to optimize coverage, coach for technical wins, and step into critical deals when needed.

You’ll hire and develop SMEs, ensure fast triage, and keep engagement data accurate in Salesforce. Strong executive presence and strategic deal experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading technical pre-sales, solutions architecture or consulting.
• Experience leading teams of technical individual contributors.
• Hands-on depth in at least one product group and breadth across all four.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a regional SME team across four product groups (Security & Compliance, Platform, Core DevSecOps, AI & Competitive).
• Partner with regional sales leadership to optimize SME deployment and win rates.
• Coach SMEs on PoV design, executive storytelling and competitive positioning.
