Job summary

QuidelOrtho is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the South Atlantic region. This remote/field role leads a technical service staff to support clinical lab and transfusion medicine product sales across North Carolina, South Carolina, East Tennessee, and Atlanta, GA.

You will hire, train, and coach a team of Field Engineers, coordinate resources for service, maintenance and training, and partner with Area Sales Directors to drive growth while maintaining compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Management, Science or Engineering or equivalent 10 years field service experience.
• 10+ years of direct field environment experience supporting hardware, software or applications at client sites.
• Proven track record in organizational development and field service management.
• Superior people management and development skills.
• Marketing, Service Planning and Administration, Product Management or equivalent experience.
• Advanced listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel approximately 75% of time, including weekends/nights.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with customers to evaluate satisfaction with field performance and build strong relationships.
• Organizes and communicates field issues to be discussed with customers and relays feedback to divisions within QuidelOrtho.
• Works with local Sales management to integrate Ortho Care with Regional Sales goals.
• Plans regional activities to support divisional and company goals and aligns with business objectives.
• Coordinates resources to deliver service, maintenance, modifications, implementations, and training.
• Collaborates with Area Sales Directors to retain and grow business and develop regional strategies.
• Identifies initiatives to optimize team productivity and talent development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
