Job summary

Swickard Auto Group is building a pipeline of qualified Service Director candidates for future openings in the Seattle area. This is a general application to be considered for upcoming fixed ops leadership roles across luxury and import brands.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years leading franchised service operations, strong P&L acumen, and a track record of high CSI and absorption. Opportunities span multiple markets with competitive compensation and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Manager or Service Director experience at a franchised dealership.
• Luxury or import brand fixed ops leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated absorption performance at or above 100%.
• Strong P&L fluency; you read your department financials and act on them.
• Developer of people; builds strong leadership and bench strength.

Responsibilities

• Own the full fixed operations department -- service, parts, and body shop where applicable -- as a unified P&L with full accountability for performance.
• Drive CSI, absorption, effective labor rate, technician efficiency, and gross profit to targets.
• Develop service and parts managers -- coaching fixed ops leadership and building bench strength.
• Partner with General Manager and other ops leadership to align fixed ops with store objectives.
• Oversee manufacturer certification compliance, warranty administration, and OEM relationships.
• Lead recruiting and retention of technicians and service advisors; fixed ops talent is foundational.
• Monitor key metrics: absorption, hours per RO, labor rate, productivity, and aged inventory.
