Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Regional Service Center Manager (Director level) for our Harvey, IL facility to lead shipping, receiving, inventory, warehousing and transportation. This role reports to the Senior Director of RSC Operations and drives Lean initiatives across shifts while managing a budget of $12-15MM.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain and 10+ years of leadership in warehousing/logistics, with experience in WMS, JDE and RF Smart, plus Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of warehouse and logistics leadership.
• Experience with WMS, JDE and RF Smart highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment operations.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards in the DC.
• Create and implement standard work to reduce costs.
• Develop and manage distribution center, inventory, and transportation workforce.
• Lead cross-functional Kaizen and Lean initiatives.
• Address service failures with corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve commercial metrics and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Planning teams.
