Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Regional Service Center Manager in Harvey, IL to lead the distribution center operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory, warehousing, and transportation. The role requires a strong Lean background and 10+ years in warehouse leadership, with a focus on safety, cost control, and service metrics.

The successful candidate will drive standard work, KPI development, and cross-functional Kaizen initiatives, while managing a budget of $12-15MM and coordinating with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent
• 10+ years of warehouse and logistics leadership experience
• 5-7 years of managing a distribution facility with a budget of $12-15MM
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma processes and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification is desirable
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment operations while maintaining and improving standards
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets in the distribution center
• Create and implement standard work to drive consistency and cost reduction
• Develop, implement, and manage distribution center KPI's
• Lead cross-functional Kaizen and Lean initiatives with teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address service failures and implement corrective actions
• Develop and manage distribution center, inventory, and transportation workforce with performance assessments and coaching
