Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Harvey, IL location to lead 2nd shift distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment. You'll manage a team of 15-25 unionized staff, focusing on safety, KPIs, and process improvements to meet delivery promises.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in high-volume DC supervision, strong WMS and scanning system experience, and familiarity with JD Edwards. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and college grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume distribution center in a supervisor role.
• Experience with WMS and scanning systems; JD Edwards preferred.
• Strong safety metrics improvement and Kaizen/Lean experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee distribution, warehouse, and fulfillment operations on 2nd shift.
• Coordinate dock activity with carriers and transportation types.
• Manage shift expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Develop a safety culture with current programs.
• Drive improvements to standard work and on-time delivery.
• Ensure adherence to Atkore core values.
