Job summary

Anchor Harvey in Illinois is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to manage daily distribution activities and lead a motivated warehouse team. You will supervise shifts, review payroll, train staff, and drive safety and efficiency across the operation.

You will coordinate between customer service, office personnel, and other plants, maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and foster continuous improvement through Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in a distribution center setting.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a drive for results.
• Ability to speak effectively in front of groups.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of distribution center associates and shift management.
• Oversee start/stop times, payroll, training, performance reviews, and efficiency improvements.
• Lead daily shift meetings and coordinate with customer service/office teams for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Communicate logistics activities with other departments/plants and maintain shipment accuracy.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, and disposition of obsolete stock.
• Maintain IPA and ensure compliance with company safety programs.
