Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Advantor systems across West South Central States. The role involves maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of IDS, access control, CCTV and GBR, with up to 100% travel.

You will work with customers, document service activities, and provide 24/7 emergency coverage as needed. Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of experience with electronic alarm systems, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related professional work experience.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with electronic alarm systems, including CCTV equipment and hardware.
• Experience with electronic access control systems and associated hardware.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and service repairs for IDS, access control, CCTV and GBR.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Provide system performance analysis on the IDS platform.
• Provide software upgrades and end-user operational support.
• Document all service calls and maintain daily service records.
