Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician located in the Mountain West region, covering Colorado and surrounding states.

You will perform maintenance, service repairs, and installations for Advantor IDS, access control, CCTV and GBR systems at customer sites. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in electrical or security systems, hands-on experience with CCTV and access control hardware, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related professional work experience.
• Experience with electronic alarm systems, CCTV, and access control hardware.
• Experience programming software for alarm and access systems.
• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office, and CRMs.
• Able to work unsupervised in a team and provide strong customer service.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and service repairs for IDS, access control, CCTV and GBR.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Provide system performance analysis on IDS platform.
• Provide software upgrades and end-user operational support.
• Document service calls and maintenance, interface with support center.
• Travel up to 100% and be on-call as needed.
• Ensure documentation is completed daily.
