Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Area Director to oversee day-to-day operations for a portfolio of client sites, serving as the main liaison with clients and ensuring operational excellence. The role requires coordinating staffing, training, and compliance across posts, while guiding site leadership and improving service delivery.

Travel up to 70% within the territory and collaboration with regional leadership to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or five years of work history in any field.
• Minimum of three years of security management experience.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and office management technology.
• Professional, articulate with independent judgment and discretion.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact and manage day-to-day operations for assigned client base.
• Address staffing concerns, service issues, and execution of company programs.
• Ensure post orders, training, licensing compliance, and staff uniform standards are met.
• Coach staff and ensure policy adherence and proper handling of employee relations.
• Assist VP in coaching, developing, and training site staff; support policy execution.
• Lead startup activities for new accounts and oversee transitions.
• Attend regional management meetings and provide input for improvements.
• Identify efficiency improvements and growth opportunities within portfolio.
