Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking an Area Manager to oversee sanitation operations across multiple facilities within a designated region. You will lead Site Managers, ensure safety and food quality standards, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 7+ years in management in food manufacturing sanitation, familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations and GMPs, and strong safety leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in management within food manufacturing sanitation and production environments.
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and Master Sanitation Programs.
• Proficient in safety protocols including LOTO and HAZCOM.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is required for effective communication across diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; adaptable to new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations across multiple facilities to deliver high-quality, compliant service.
• Coach and develop Site Managers to build high-performing teams aligned with safety and food quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance) to drive performance, resolve issues, and implement best practices.
• Ensure readiness for audits and support corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, labor usage, and resource allocation to meet company and client goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and frontline engagement.
