Job summary

Hamilton Company is expanding its regional sales team in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area to accelerate growth in automated liquid handling solutions. This Regional Sales Representative role focuses on prospecting, developing new accounts, and expanding market presence.

You will collaborate with account teams to qualify opportunities, present solutions, and coordinate with ACEs for technical validation. Travel 30–60% within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of sales or business development experience in life sciences, capital equipment, or laboratory instrumentation.
• Must have experience with Automated Liquid Handling Equipment.
• Proven lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline development.
• Experience with automated liquid handling or laboratory automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and qualify new customer opportunities through outbound prospecting and market research.
• Develop net-new accounts and expand in overlapping territories.
• Build a robust pipeline to support regional growth targets.
• Coordinate with existing territory reps to align on strategy and avoid channel conflict.
• Conduct introductory meetings, product presentations, and discovery discussions.
• Collaborate with Automation Consulting Engineers to support validation and design.
• Generate leads through calls, emails, and in-person visits.
• Maintain CRM activity and pipeline in HubSpot; support trade shows and events.
