Job summary

ID Technology, a ProMach brand, seeks an Area Sales Manager for Chicago, IL to drive top-line growth in the Midwest. You will prospect, close deals, manage accounts, and build strong customer relationships while aligning solutions with client needs.

Ideal candidates have college education or proven sales success, strong communication, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to cover customers and partners. MS Office proficiency and a deep understanding of labeling/marking tech are a plus.

Qualifications

• College education or proven sales experience and documented success.
• Ability to identify customer needs and match solutions with products.
• Knowledge of packaging industry or related applications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Proficiency with MS Office and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Sell ID Technology products including label, coding & marking equipment, labels, and ribbons.
• Develop new and maintain existing account relations in an ethical and profitable manner.
• Support national accounts as required.
• Follow up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner.
• Maintain a prospect-customer data base.
• Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects within the company‘s standard guidelines.
• Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required by leadership.
• Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints.
