Job summary

ID Technology, part of ProMach, is seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager for Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio in the Great Lakes Region. You will proactively develop leads, build strong customer relationships, and sell label, coding & marking equipment, labels, and ribbons to drive regional profitability.

You're comfortable traveling about 50% of the time, identifying customer needs, preparing proposals, and supporting national accounts.

Qualifications

• College education or proven sales experience.
• Ability to identify customer needs and match with our solutions.
• Knowledge of industry and application of ID Technology products.
• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel ~50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Sell ID Technology products including label, coding & marking equipment, labels, and ribbons.
• Develop new and maintain existing account relations in an ethical and profitable manner.
• Support national accounts as required.
• Follow up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner.
• Maintain a prospect-customer data base.
• Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects within the company‘s standard guidelines.
• Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required by leadership.
• Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints.
