Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical industry sales or business development experience.
• Strong utility and/or power grid experience.
• Established relationships with IOUs, munis, co-ops, engineers, or other utility-market stakeholders.
• Experience with specification-driven sales and utility infrastructure is a major plus.
• Understanding of substations, power distribution, transformers, T&D, or related electrical products.
• Comfortable managing complex opportunities with extended sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with IOUs, municipal utilities, electric co-ops, EPCs, engineers, contractors, and distribution partners
• Identify and develop opportunities involving substations, power distribution, transformers, and related grid infrastructure
• Work with utilities and engineering stakeholders to help work through utility specifications and approval processes.
• Manage strategic accounts and navigate the long sales cycles common within the utility market
• Develop new opportunities while expanding existing relationships throughout the Northeast
• Travel throughout the territory to meet with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
