Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Utility Area Sales Manager for the Northeast Region. This home-based role requires residence within 50 miles of Boothwyn, PA; Moon Township, PA or New York, NY.

You will manage a customer base, sales resources and channels to market, leading a sales team and distributor network to grow sales and market share. You will drive strategic account plans, collaborate with field engineers and service teams, and report progress on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Residence within 50 miles of Boothwyn, PA; Moon Township, PA or New York, NY.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree; 10+ years electrical sales experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage account relationships with appropriate decision‑makers up to C‑level executives.
• Coordinate executive meetings for the region and clear relationship roadblocks.
• Develop and implement a strategic, action‑oriented sales plan for the account team.
• Manage the execution of the strategic account plan and report results monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Lead account opportunities identification, pursuit and closure across products, systems, and services.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and service levels.
• Establish annual and quarterly business goals/quotas for the account team.
• Conduct account marketing analyses to identify customer needs and objectives.
• Provide voice of customer feedback to product and service leaders for future development; lead CRR activities.
