Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead a frontline sales team across 3 locations in the Mountain West area. You will drive targets, manage performance, and partner with Commercial, Go To Market, Delivery, and Warehouse teams to optimize market share and profitability.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive selling experience, and willingness to travel up to 75%. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of selling experience including key account management.
Minimum of 5 years leading salaried and frontline employees.
Strong influence and communication skills with leadership ability.
Proven track record as an “agent of change.”
Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
Willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.
Travel up to 50–75% regularly.
Able to work a flexible schedule (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

Direct and support sales and merchandising activities within a geographic area to meet goals.
Lead and coach the team on selling and display execution and merchandising standards.
Establish weekly 1:1s and team meetings for clear communication.
Set performance objectives and develop frontline employees.
Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance.
Execute store calls and customer visits as scheduled.
Resolve sales/service challenges through cross-functional collaboration.
Drive area priorities into actionable territory plans.
