Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in the Northern Colorado area seeks an Area Sales Manager to lead a sales and merchandising team across Mountain West, driving selling targets, improving market share, net revenue and profitability while coordinating with Commercial, Go To Market, Delivery and Warehouse functions.

You will direct a three-location team, conduct weekly 1:1s, set clear performance objectives, and build capability through coaching, training and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of selling experience including key account management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading salaried and frontline employees.
• Strong influence and communication skills; leadership to drive results.
• Must be willing to lift 40 lbs. and travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support all sales and merchandising activities within a geographic area.
• Lead and coach team on selling and display execution and merchandising standards.
• Establish weekly 1:1s and team meetings to drive performance.
• Set objectives and develop front-line employees through coaching and training.
• Align local activity plans with national priorities and promotions.
