Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead a field sales team across four locations in the Mountain West market. You will drive selling and merchandising execution, coach frontline staff, and partner with Commercial, Go To Market, Delivery and Warehouse teams to meet targets.

The role requires 5+ years selling experience and leadership, willingness to travel up to 75%, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. PepsiCo offers a competitive salary, benefits, and performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years selling experience including key account management.
• Minimum of 5 years leading salaried and frontline employees.
• Strong influence and communication skills and leadership ability.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within defined area.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support sales and merchandising activities within the geographic area to meet goals.
• Lead and coach team on selling, display execution and merchandising standards.
• Establish weekly 1:1s and conduct team meetings to drive performance.
• Set clear objectives and measure performance for frontline staff.
• Develop training and development programs for sales/service teams.
• Support a safe labor environment and mentorship.
• Collaborate with GTM, Warehouse, and Delivery to resolve issues.
• Execute local marketplace initiatives to build brand performance.
