Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC is seeking an energetic Regional Sales Manager to expand our K–12 educational footprint in the Hudson Valley/NYC area. You will cultivate new and existing school district relationships, supported by a strong marketing and sales team, with an uncapped commission structure to reward performance.

You should have 3+ years of sales success, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience and proven entrepreneurial know-how.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Solid presentation skills and ability to speak to customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality and ability to perform outstanding work from home.
• Candidates should reside in Hudson Valley area and be willing to travel within territory, approx. 25% travel with overnight stays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in designated geographic area.
• Partner with internal sales resources to support needs and increase business.
• Consistently call on and maintain relationships with customers in territory.
• Collaborate with RVP/RD to build and drive sales strategies.
• Target key customers and assess client needs.
• Communicate effectively with inside partners and HQ departments to streamline sales.
• Participate in local, state and national conferences to promote Lakeshore.
