Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Fuel Markets, the Regional Sales Manager – Southeast US is responsible for achieving sales volume and profitability in the underground fuel storage market through planning, control, and execution of XERXES’s sales goals and objectives.

Key Duties
  • Establish and maintain relationships with territory accounts by working with manufacturing sales representatives to engage site owners, distributors, contractors, and engineering companies to develop demand for XERXES products.
  • Respond to and follow up on all sales leads with sales representatives.
  • Manage national accounts collaboratively with sales representatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products.
  • Participate in trade shows, associations, and presentations.
Collaboration and Market Strategy
  • Partner with manufacturing representatives in the territory to meet sales goals.
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, sales support, field service, and accounting.
  • Assist in establishing competitive pricing strategies and provide market intelligence.
Reporting and Compliance
  • Complete sales documentation, forecasts, and account plans.
  • Monitor budgets, regulatory activity, and legislation affecting sales and installation.
Requirements
  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or sales management.
  • Leadership experience managing sales teams or external reps.
  • Experience selling capital equipment or engineered/industrial products, with a background in industries like petroleum, mining, construction, manufacturing, or utilities.
  • Experience in the fuel market is preferred.
  • Reside near the Southeast sales territory, close to major airports.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
