Position: Outside Regional Sales Manager

We are actively seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee territories from New York to Southern Georgia. The position can be located anywhere along the Atlantic Coast from NY down to Southern Georgia.

Each Regional Sales Manager will have 8-12 reps reporting to them.

The Regional Sales Manager will provide coverage, communication, and support within the sales organization to increase deposits and align with company growth goals.

The RSM is responsible for overseeing day-to-day sales operations within a designated geographic territory, focusing on acquiring new accounts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Maintaining existing accounts
  2. Managing the performance of a team of Territory Sales Managers
  3. Building and leading a team of sales professionals to manage successful sales programs in the designated area, including recruiting, initial vetting, and recommending candidates for hiring
  4. Addressing performance issues and implementing corrective actions, collaborating with HR as needed
  5. Visiting each market at least twice a year, either announced or unannounced
  6. Meeting with customers, with or without the territory sales manager present
  7. Engaging with contractors, designers, and architects periodically
  8. Attending the Annual NAHB International Builders Show
  9. Participating in local shows within the territory with the National Vice President of Sales
  10. Providing accurate and timely reports
  11. Performing additional duties as assigned

Customer Focus: Approximately 80% of the role involves sales, with the remaining time working directly with homeowners.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience in technical sales
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals, coaching, inspiring teams, and doing the heavy lifting
  • At least 5+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Stable employment history, with no more than 2 jobs in the past 5-6 years
  • Background in selling specialized products
