Job summary

Capacity/Laymor trucks is part of Terex Corporation, a global designer and manufacturer of specialized vehicles and equipment. The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales targets, expand the dealer network, and promote Capacity offerings across regions.

You will closely monitor performance, coordinate with finance, engineering, and operations, and travel extensively to build relationships. Ideal candidates have a business/marketing background with 5+ years in sales programs, strong negotiation

Qualifications

• College degree in business, marketing, and related discipline.
• Five years of experience developing and executing sales/marketing programs.
• Proven track record of meeting sales volume and margin objectives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in dealership/dealer-based company environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Capacity and its dealer network.
• Establish dealer sales/margin targets and monitor performance against established metrics.
• Assist dealers in the development of an annual business plan to meet sales targets.
• Design territory management approaches for dealer and customer visits.
• Address dealer network issues and proactively develop action plans.
• Promote Capacity product offerings at regional, state, and national trade shows.
• Maintain productive relationships with the dealer network.
• Collaborate with accounting, engineering and operations teams.
• Optimize resources to provide superior dealer service on quotes and admin tasks.
• Monitor expenditures and coordinate budget actions.
• Advise the North American Director of Sales on market issues.
