Role Overview

Regional Sales Manager for products used to monitor high voltage rotating machines.

Location

This is a remote-based role, supporting Western Canada and the USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve order, sales, and market-share goals in your territory.
  • Maintain direct contact with customer accounts, monitor industry trends, and analyze competitors.
  • Build and manage a network of representatives through selection, training, and supervision.
  • Attend industry trade shows, seminars, and conferences to promote our products.
  • Coordinate with the company to ensure appropriate product offerings based on customer needs.
  • Maintain and update sales databases and tools.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in high voltage equipment with proven success.
  • Experience working with or managing manufacturer's representatives.
  • Knowledge of electric utility, power generation industry, or generator/motor winding design and maintenance.
  • Training in safety standards for high voltage work.
  • Ability to learn technical products and applications.
  • Effective communication skills, including group presentations and technical explanations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Willingness to participate in training in Canada for up to 30 days, multiple times in the first year.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSEE or BSME degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Working Conditions
  • Office or home office environment.
  • Power plant environment experience.
  • Approximately 60% travel after training.
