Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia sales territory. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position focuses on the sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the USCA Sales Director.

***Must reside within the territory (Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Promote and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide outstanding support and service to customers regarding product recommendation, application, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge to monitor market trends, customer needs, and competition to inform business planning and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
  1. Four-year college degree or three years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry and/or significant experience as a business owner, preferably in construction contracting.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with the ability to work collaboratively, develop solutions, and address issues practically.
  4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Technical ability to interpret product data sheets, MSDS, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
