Job description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts within our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and DC territories. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position involves sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the USCA Sales Director.

Must reside in the territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, or DC only.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Endorse and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide excellent support and service to customers regarding product recommendations, applications, and performance.
  4. Use industry knowledge to monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitors, and develop your business plan accordingly.
Qualifications:
  1. 4-year college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry or significant ownership/employer experience in construction contracting.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with collaborative selling skills.
  4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Technical ability to interpret product data sheets, MSDS sheets, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
