The company works with surgeons to advance the science and practice of peripheral nerve care through research, education, and innovative product development. Checkpoint Surgical’s state-of-the-art nerve care products have become the standard of care for peripheral nerve surgery. The company actively develops and brings to market new products to support the entire continuum of intraoperative nerve care.

Job Description
Checkpoint Surgical is hiring a high-performance Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead a hybrid team of direct reps and independent distributors. We’re a rapidly growing, innovation-driven medical device company committed to redefining outcomes in nerve surgery. We need an agile leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment—and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
What You’ll Do:
– Drive revenue growth by coaching and leading a regional hybrid sales team
– Partner with the Area Sales Director to develop and execute market strategies
– Align distributor goals with Checkpoint’s objectives to ensure sustainable success
– Provide clinical guidance and product training to reps and customers
– Deliver market insights and competitive intel to help shape corporate direction
– Launch new products in collaboration with Clinical, Marketing, and Engineering
– Own regional sales targets and accountability standards
– Build, develop, and retain top sales talent
– Personally lead key sales activities with major accounts and top surgeons
Who You Are:
– A proven leader with 5+ years of medical sales experience
– Comfortable with hybrid teams (direct + distributor)
– Known for grit, urgency, adaptability, and high emotional intelligence
– Strategic, self-aware, and always improving
– Comfortable in high-growth/start-up environments
Preferred Experience:
– Nerve, biologics, orthopedics, or capital equipment sales
– Success launching new products or entering new markets
