Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain region (Denver area preferred). This role focuses on distributors and direct-sales accounts, coordinating branded sales programs and regional initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

The incumbent will work with a Sales Coordinator, manage broker relationships, and travel frequently. A BS/BA and 5–10 years in food-service sales are strongly preferred.

• Excellent presentation skills both to customers and internal contacts including PowerPoint preparation and presentation.
• Self-motivated and willingness to contact dozens of new accounts per day with potential rejection.
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
• Advanced analytical/analysis skills including proficient Excel experience.
• Professional communication skills with ability to resolve issues between internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong inclination towards sustainability in business and personal environments.
• Desired Education Level: BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university
• 5-10 years of progressive sales experience in food service industry

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales and profit plan for assigned region to achieve company growth and profit objectives.
• Develops and executes an Objective Sales Plan aligned with company and departmental objectives.
• Participates in food shows to introduce new and seasonal products and expand penetration of current products.
• Seeks distributor relationships to sell product in targeted locations or to penetrate accounts.
• Implements proactive strategies to achieve sales goals and target accounts.
• Keeps abreast of competitor information, customer policy changes, and market trends for the Northeast region.
• Manages brokers using the Objective Sales Plan to maximize seller time with clear direction.
• Tracks pipeline of opportunities and reports monthly.
• Spends time developing, training and managing brokers (40%), direct end-user business (30%), and administrative duties (20%).
• Oversees account management, order fulfillment, credit status, training, and product demos.
• Supports, demonstrates and promotes Eco-Products philosophy and mission.
• Accomplishes all tasks as assigned.
