Signal & Strand seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead day-to-day sales operations across Seattle and Portland, directly managing the account executives and sales coordinators in a hands-on, player-coach role focused on revenue targets.

Working with local Publishers and revenue leadership, you will set quotas, coach reps, manage the regional pipeline, and own the relationships with the region’s top advertisers and agency partners while building repeatable sales practices across two markets.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of media, advertising, or comparable B2B sales experience
• 3+ years managing or leading a sales team
• Strong track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets
• Sales coaching and people-development skills
• Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting tools
• Analytical, data-driven approach to pipeline and forecasting
• Excellent relationship-building with advertisers, agencies, partners

Aufgaben

• Lead Seattle and Portland sales team: manage, coach, and develop a team of account executives and sales coordinators across both markets, setting expectations and supporting onboarding
• Own regional revenue targets: carry responsibility for advertising, sponsorship, events, and ticketing revenue, setting quotas and tracking performance
• Drive sales strategy: build territory/account plans, prioritize opportunities across digital, print, newsletter, social, and events
• Provide hands-on coaching: join pitches, review proposals, help reps close deals, build repeatable sales practices
• Manage key relationships: own and grow relationships with advertisers, agencies, sponsors, and ticketing partners
• Partner with Publishers: collaborate on revenue priorities and cross-functional initiatives across advertising, events, and membership
• Maintain forecasting and reporting: keep CRM current and deliver timely revenue forecasts
