Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Emerson Shared Sales to drive growth and customer engagement across a specified geographic region, partnering with Home Depot and Emerson teams. You will be the primary field-based representative, executing programs and delivering strategic initiatives with field leadership and store operations.

You will travel regionally (average 4 days/week), build strong customer relationships, and use analytics to guide actions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region.
• Experience building customer relationships and growing sales in retail or related environments.
• Experience with large retail customers and field sales teams.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret business data and translate insights into actions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth through promotional programs, merchandising initiatives and engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain partnerships with regional and local customer leadership to ensure visibility of products and programs.
• Collaborate with business units to support customer initiatives and store activities.
• Meet regularly with regional decision-makers to identify growth opportunities.
• Utilize analytics to monitor performance and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with field teams to address execution challenges and store-level issues.
• Conduct regular field visits to verify program implementation and gather feedback.
• Support and deliver training for customer teams and internal stakeholders.
• Focus on key stores and new locations to maximize program adoption and sales.
• Represent Emerson at customer meetings, regional events and industry shows.
• Gather market intelligence on competition, pricing trends, and merchandising opportunities.
• Support account management activities for regional customers and partners.
