Job summary

KLINGSPOR Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for MN, NE and IA to grow direct sales and lead the regional team. The role demands proven results, a growth mindset, and the ability to develop sales strategies aligned with company goals.

This remote leadership position requires more than 40 hours per week, frequent overnight travel within the region, and some travel outside the state for meetings. Competitive compensation includes base salary plus commissions and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in business or technical field.
• 5 years business to business sales experience.
• 2 years Supervision or Management experience.
• Experience in the industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Account Development
• Territory and Regional Development
• Coach and Train Factory Sales Representatives (FSRs)
• Assist DSM with Effective Forecasting and Budget Planning
• Know the Competition as well as the Market
• Implementing Auditing Measurements of Performance
• Develop Strategies to Produce Regional Sales Growth and Profit Objectives
• Travel within the region and occasional visits to corporate HQ in Hickory, NC
