Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a capable sales professional for the Texas region within the Government Video team. The role focuses on public safety and enterprise security solutions, including land mobile radio and video analytics.

Travel up to 50% is expected, often from a home office located in Texas. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in sales, customer success, or public safety, or 6+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety.
• OR 6+ years of experience in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute winning strategy within assigned territory.
• Schedule and lead customer meetings.
• Uncover additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings.
• Identify and overcome roadblocks while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Resolve product or service related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and routing to the appropriate support team.
• Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers.
• Ensure client awareness regarding usefulness and operation of purchased products and services.
• Collaborate with Solution Sellers focusing on other parts of the portfolio in the region.
• Present products and demonstrate their uses.
• Build a long-term funnel including engaging with competitive accounts.
• Coordinate/state user group meetings and technology workshops.
