Huntington National Bank is seeking a high-impact Senior Sales Manager to lead a merchant/receivables sales team across the regional and business banking channel. You will drive revenue targets, coach staff, and coordinate with branches and partners to secure client deals and build COI/referral networks.

The role requires at least 8 years of sales leadership in financial services, with payments industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years proven successful sales management experience in financial institution, with an emphasis on the payments industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a merchant/receivables sales team, including recruiting, coaching and training direct reports.
• Manage CRM process for sales management (funnel, close rates, incentives) and drive product primacy with regional bank lending/deposit customers.
• Provide expertise in the payments industry and map sales process to a high-win sales experience.
• Evangelize merchant/receivables product and train internal/external partners.
• Partner with Regional/Business Banking teams and external channel partners to grow sales.
• Collaborate with merchant product/service teams to support employees and clients.
• Participate in DE&I and community activities at team and leadership levels.
• Drive client outcomes by growing pipeline and closing deals with client meetings and joint sales calls.
• Develop new prospecting channels including COI/referral partners to generate leads.
