Job summary

Piedmont National Corporation is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a field team of Outside Sales Representatives in Alabama and drive regional growth. You will develop strategic customer relationships, forecast sales, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service while delivering tailored packaging solutions.

You will coach talent, monitor performance against targets, and represent the company at trade shows and in the community to expand market share and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–7 years of sales experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Experience in packaging, distribution, or related industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Outside Sales reps to hit regional goals.
• Set regional sales strategies and targets; monitor revenue and profitability.
• Manage key accounts; tailor packaging solutions.
• Forecast regional sales with leadership; prepare budgets; spot growth.
• Coordinate with service, operations, and supply chain to ensure service.
• Pursue high-value opportunities to expand market share.
• Conduct field visits to coach sales staff.
• Analyze market trends and feedback to adjust strategies.
• Represent Piedmont at trade shows and events.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
