Biodesix, Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead the Mid-Atlantic region's sales efforts, partnering with pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, and hospital admins to grow the adoption of diagnostic tests.

You will recruit, train, and coach field sales professionals, manage forecasts and budgets, and represent Biodesix at meetings and conferences to strengthen market presence while delivering measurable regional growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of sales management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 70%.
• Proven experience leading commercialization efforts in healthcare.
• Background in pulmonology or related diagnostic sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team across the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Foster partnerships with interventional pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, general practitioners, and hospital leaders to drive adoption.
• Plan for territory coverage and coordinate with Talent Acquisition to minimize downtime.
• Drive regional sales performance and meet quotas and business goals.
• Oversee education and training for internal teams and external customers on product use and results interpretation.
• Provide market insights to marketing and senior leadership on pricing, competition, and opportunities.
• Represent Biodesix at regional and national meetings and events.
