Job summary

Biodesix, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead the Mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia.

The role requires local presence and travels to foster partnerships with clinicians and healthcare institutions. You will recruit, train, and coach field-based sales professionals, manage forecasts and budgets, and drive adoption of Biodesix diagnostics while maintaining high standards of professionalism and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of documented sales leadership and success.
• Ability to travel up to 70%.
• Experience in healthcare commercialization or diagnostic sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
• Build and maintain partnerships with clinicians and hospital stakeholders.
• Plan territory coverage with Talent Acquisition to minimize downtime.
• Drive regional sales performance to meet or exceed quotas.
• Oversee education and training for internal teams and external customers.
• Provide market insights to marketing and leadership.
• Represent Biodesix at meetings and events.
• Coach field teams through regular visits and reviews.
