Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a Regional Manager to oversee the independent sales representative network for the lighting and transportation lines across the Southern U.S.

The role drives profitable revenue by creating regional strategies and expanding customer relationships with key influencers. The position partners with product management, operations and pricing to align on customer needs and go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 6+ years in sales or sales management.
• Experience managing independent sales representatives.
• Proven success growing territory and accounts.
• Experience in value-based selling and specification-driven sales.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically within the assigned territory up to 50%.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies.
• Lead and optimize independent sales representative network.
• Coach reps to improve pipeline and conversions.
• Provide forecasting, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence.
• Build relationships with customers, specifiers, and decision-makers.
• Drive specification activity and bid participation.
• Collaborate with product, operations, pricing teams.
• Support new product introductions and adoption.
• Represent the company at meetings and events.
