Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Regional Sales Director for the Structural Heart TAVI team in the Northeast region. The role, reporting to the US Area VP, requires residence within the geography and may involve >50% travel.

You will coach territory managers and clinical specialists, develop high performing teams, support TAVI procedures, and drive education, contracts, and customer engagement to achieve sales and clinical objectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college with 10+ years of interventional cardiology/cardiovascular experience or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of interventional cardiology/cardiovascular experience.
• Proven sales and clinical performance in interventional cardiology/cardiovascular.
• Ability to lead workstreams and initiatives with critical thinking.
• Ability to supervise direct reports’ clinical and sales objectives and monitor outcomes.
• Compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to obtain vendor credentialing which may include COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Support and achieve the regional sales plan.
• Develop a safe learning environment and positive team culture.
• Lead weekly calls, workshops, and regional meetings.
• Recruit, onboard, and coach sales and clinical staff.
• Foster diversity and empower the team to meet franchise goals.
• Drive customer engagement planning and regional sales processes.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and TM accountability.
• Monitor SFDC, Mentor, Power BI, and Vablet usage.
• Oversee quarterly field travel to visit customers and assess clinical competency.
• Coordinate cross-functional partnerships to support franchise objectives.
