Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Director in Salisbury, NC, to drive DSD sales and manage Independent Distributors. You will build customer relationships, pursue new opportunities, and track performance to maximize market growth.

The role requires 5 years in sales/general management, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and a valid DOT medical card/driver’s license with a clean record. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Manage customer relationships and grow the customer base.
• Track sales data and identify new selling opportunities in the market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and ensure promotion/display execution.
• Use digital tools to show execution wins and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market/territory opportunities.
