Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Safety Director to implement and monitor safety policies across locations and client sites. You will lead hazard analyses, conduct safety audits, deliver training, and coordinate root-cause investigations. Must travel regionally and work OT/work weekends as needed.

Qualifications include CHST/CSMC, OSHA 510/500 and OSHA 30, First Aid CPR, and a Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety, with strong MS Office skills and customer-relations abilities.

Qualifications

• CHST or CSMC certification required or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA 510/500 and OSHA 30 certifications, First Aid CPR certified.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer-relations skills.
• Willing to travel regionally and work OT/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor IES safety policies across sites and projects.
• Lead hazard analysis, safety audits, and root-cause investigations.
• Develop safety initiatives to prevent incidents and injuries.
• Deliver safety trainings and coordinate safety-related reporting.
• Coordinate committees and communications with operations and management.
