Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead enterprise safety strategy and compliance across multiple sites. You will guide leadership, train managers, and drive incident prevention while aligning with the Zero Harm initiative.

Responsibilities include governance, risk management, and performance reporting. Travel up to 50% may be required; salary ranges reflect senior safety leadership responsibilities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in electrical, industrial, or distribution environments is preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise safety strategy aligned with business objectives and Zero Harm goals.
• Lead the Capital Safety Committee and establish clear safety standards, programs, and expectations across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, local, and customer safety regulations.
• Provide guidance, tools, training, and coaching to managers and supervisors to ensure local ownership of safety performance.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; develop and track corrective actions.
• Establish annual safety goals and KPIs; analyze trends and performance data.
• Protect facilities, inventory, vehicles, and assets; partner with Operations, HR, and insurers.
• Influence leadership to own safety and communicate across levels.
