Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead company-wide safety efforts and champion Zero Harm. You will develop strategy, drive governance, coordinate across sites, and advise senior leadership on risk and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes training, incident investigations, and continuous safety improvements across multiple states. Occasional travel is expected; salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Ability to lead and influence in a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the enterprise safety strategy aligned with Zero Harm goals.
• Lead the Safety Committee and set safety standards and expectations.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT and applicable regulations compliance; maintain safety docs, audits, inspections.
• Provide coaching and safety training programs to managers and supervisors.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; track corrective actions.
• Establish safety goals and KPIs; provide regular safety reporting to leadership.
• Protect facilities, inventory, assets; partner with Ops, HR, and insurers.
