Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead company-wide safety efforts and form a Zero Harm culture across multiple sites in the United States. The role focuses on strategy, compliance, training, and risk management to protect employees and assets.

The position requires leadership in a multi-site environment, strong planning and communication skills, and travel up to 50%. Salary ranges between $100,000 and $130,000 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in electrical, industrial, or distribution environments preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve the enterprise safety strategy aligned with Zero Harm.
• Lead the Safety Committee; establish standards, programs, and expectations.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT and applicable regulations compliance; manage risk.
• Provide training and coaching on safety programs, including forklift and DOT.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; track corrective actions.
• Analyze safety data, report to leadership, and drive continuous improvement.
• Protect assets and coordinate loss prevention with operations and insurance.
