Job summary

IES Communications, Llc is seeking a seasoned Safety Director to implement and oversee comprehensive safety policies across multiple locations. You will ensure compliance with federal and state standards, lead audits, and coordinate proactive safety initiatives to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction safety (telecom/electrical preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety.
• CHST certification or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor IES safety policies and programs across regions.
• Lead safety audits/inspections and develop corrective action plans.
• Coordinate and deliver safety trainings for management and staff.
• Conduct root cause investigations for incidents and near misses.
• Prepare reports on OSHA logs, incidents, and safety performance.
• Establish internal safety communication channels and committees.
• Travel as required to client sites and regional offices.
