Job summary

YAI is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee nursing services for an assigned region in Brooklyn. You will supervise RNs and LPNs, ensure medication administration and person-centered nursing plans, and work with interdisciplinary teams to meet regulatory standards.

You will lead staffing, training, and performance management, coordinate with leadership, and ensure compliant nursing practices across programs, including on-site and regional oversight.

Qualifications

• RN license required for practice in NY/NJ states.
• BSN degree preferred; three years nursing experience with I/DD is a plus.
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises RNs and LPNs for assigned caseload and guides nursing services.
• Ensures compliance with nursing regulations and standards.
• Oversees medication administration and nursing plans.
• Maintains regular communication with nursing staff and leadership teams.
• Participates in hiring, staffing, and performance management.
• Ensures accurate timekeeping and payroll data in Workday.
• Provides training and guidance on medical in-services and coding.
